HoHey 4 piston with Wave Rotor

So I rode a few time already on some new pads and decided to pull the caliper off to trim em. With the wave rotor only the middle of the pad, like 3/4" of the middle pad has wear...Anyone running this set up? Do I really need to trim that much of the pads? Seems like a huge waste, I dunno...Anyone give me any insight to this

Yea ride more and then pull it off and check it. It should be more noticeable.
