GPR Stabalizer Oil

Anyone know what happens if you put 20w fork oil in one of newer 8 dial V1 dampers? I know its recomended to do the 5w... Anyone ever tried it?

Re: GPR Stabalizer Oil

I would say 20w would be overkill. I would go no more than 10w if you went with anything higher

Re: GPR Stabalizer Oil

if you go to there website and then the downloads section on the top theres a section about bleeding and changing your oil telling you the type they use and what weight you could put in ill get the link

(We exclusively use Silkolene synthetic fork fluids, but most synthetic fork fluids will
work. For dampers w/ a 1-6 dial, dirtbikes use 10wt, ATV’s 15wt and sport bikes work best w/ a 20wt fluid. Sport bike

racers (track day and AMA racers) and stunt riders will usually use a 30wt fluid.) on gprs website

my bad i just read thats for older style 1-6 it says crap about 1-8 to
