do not order from powers under any circumstance. matt powers is a grade A **** lick and his wife is a ****. if anything ***** up with your order and theres a good chance that it will, they will treat you like an illegal alien. there has been countless ppl on here posting about their order taking MONTHS. the cage itself is too bulky in my opinion and its mounting system is garbage. it can bottom out because it connects underneath and will prob hit when drifting. it flat mounts to the weak part of your frame on the gsxr and has caused damage to ppls frames with gsxr's and 600rr's. and if thats not enough for you, theyre ugly as ****.

SI makes a good solid cage for any bike not too many complaints. but honestly for the newer style gsxr's i think impaktech is probably your best bet for a good cage that wont **** up your bike in the process.

Go with impaktech for your bike! 2nd choice would be SI.
Here's a Link since no one ever know's how to search for any thing any more.

youve scraped 2 inches of that cage TRUST me it hasnt been "pounded" ive put more marks on my cages from lowsiding drifts. im not debating that SI cage can take a beating ive used them with great success myself, im saying your cage hasnt seen very much abuse.

Re: need help choosen a cage??

**** powers! i had 905, powers, and then SI... SI is by far the best cage ive seen around and used myself... 905 killed my shins and it bent fairly easy, powers couldnt handle a beating and bent so bad it cracked my oil pan so fast, customer service sucks and the guy ***** on his cuztomers from what ive heard and read... and SI has been SICK! took a wicked beating and is still ****** holdin up, fits good and is a good cage for drifts!

SI is a DECENT cage for a PRO or someone that occasionally power wheelies...for all out stunt/squid abuse go with Impaktech or Tygersharkthis is what I did to a brand new SI cage on a light drop lowsiding a driftgranted SI sent me a new replacement and were cool as **** but it still took 2 weeks or more and my bike was out of commissionspend the extra $$$ and get a Tyger($340)or Impaktech i believe are $250
