Just a reminder if you have tires with wire canvas to remove your front sprocket cover and there could be wires in there too. I did 3 or 4 tire blowouts before removing the case and noticed a big slump of wires tangle up in there was eventually gonna wear out all the metal. A few months more of riding and I would have had to use something different than a socket wrench to change the front sprocket

yeah cloth cords are easier to clean but metal cords can cause damage, I had no clue there was some stuck in the front.

Or you could find a pen?!?! LoL when I got this bike, I went to change out the sprockets, and found this next to my front sprocket........

There ya go, another reason to take the cover off once every few months. You never know what you can find in there, wires, pens, fingers, who knows?

I run Avon and Conti as much as possible......... Great tires, and no metal cords.
I ran a Metz Sportec m3 at one point, and during a 4th gear rolling burnout the cords ripped off the liscense plate, ripped open the tail light, seat, and went through my shirt and left quite a beautiful show on my back.
Screw metal cords!

Not the ones I've been picking up......... Take off's, I think they are the mid range ones..... lots of ducati's using them, that's the dealership tire pile I find em in.......
I looked at their website and it appears almost all of their new street tires are steel. You're right! I guess I'm using some old *** tires or something, dunno.......
Other poly's I can think of are Michelins and Dunlop...... I know the power race and the qualifiers have em........
I wanna run the Conti race rain tires for a day........ wish I could find a set used. They look pimp!
