yo adam, nice lookin bars.. very clean lookin'... but are they 12 o'clock cause i had to trim about an inch and a half from my 02 gix 750 tail to mount my bar so the bike was at 12?!?!?! one side note though, my wheelbase is about a half inch from the shortest it could possibly be in the swingarm??? just curious.

I propped that 1000 up, and it was pretty damb close to being 12, I dont think someone is going to bust out a tape measure while you're Scrape'n, We're talkin mer inchs now. Oh, also, I made them so you can put your foot in the bar to do tricks. And they park very well due to the 12" wide bar.

question??

every bar i see is flat.. why not make them out of solid round piece of steel or iron or whatever?? just wonderin cause i would think that with a flat bar like that wouldnt you get alot more drag/friction then on a round bar which would have more of a chance throwin your balance off?? i cant 12 on my bike yet but i had a flat bar on my banshee and i would get wobbles, now i got a round one made of solid steel and it feels so much smoother when it scrapes and i havent had a wobble yet. ill post a pic when i can get someone with a digi cam to take it!

nice bar though! got any designs for an R6??:D

Hey can someone tell me if these bars get in the way of the brake light while cruising around town.
I am trying to figure out if this is something the cops can get me for.
Cheers

got ya... when i made mine i was more concered with getting it all the way up to 12 so iu had the extra clearance for slow rolls and stuff before the bar touched... i'm going to have to cut a large notch out of my tail for my foot though... still envious of the nice craftsmanship too!
