just wondering what is the most amount of advil anyone has taken in one day

 

any more then 9 i believe is SUUUPER bad for your liver.. ive done about that...a few times...lol

 

i dont take meds for ANYTHING... most advil i've prolly ever taken was 6 in 24hours.

 

I think most prescription Ibuprofen are what...600-800mg? A regular Advil is only 200mg. If I have to take it, I need it. I will take 4 at a time if I have to resort to taking it.

 

I try not to take a bunch of stuff, tho. I hate taking medicine.

 

havnt been to the hospital in over 5 years and ony took advil once about a year ago for a ear infection. no insurance sucks ***

I think I've taken as many as 12 but that was after surgery. 4 at a time 3 times a day.

 

Anymore than the recommended dosage isnt absorbed by your body the way it is intended too (to stop pain) like an extra pill or 2 may be ok especially if ur body is used to it... but after that its just a waste and hurts more than it helps...

 

Advil is ibuprofen which is a nsaid, it does not affect your liver. Acetaminophen (Tylenol, Vicoden) is bad for your liver in mass quantities. Too much of a nsaid can cause ulcers/stomach/intestinal bleeding or heart/circulation problems. The maximum amount of ibuprofen for adults is 800 milligrams per dose or 3200 mg per day.

Everything works better when you snort it. That's how I take NyQuil.

 

4 advil every 8 hours and 2 glucosamein(sp) a day

the advil is when im hurt though and the glucosamein(sp) is for getting old.

 

i think we may need a intervention

 

4 advil, 4 monsters, and a cup cake and your good to go.

 

if you dont take to much, your fine, if you take a lot, it will hurt your liver like any medicine.
