How to wrap vinyl?

Whats up all. Big thanks out to The Inhouse for hooking me up with a good deal on a wrap. Thing looks sweet. Now I just need to figure out how to get it on

Anyways The bike is streetfighter so not many piece to cover but the tank and tail may be a difficult task. Looking for some advice if anyone has any. My big concern is if I should worry about the tank and tail being primered. Should I go ahead and finishing painting them, and then wrap or should the primer be fine?

Only concern with the primer is it peeling off. If anyone has any insight on that it would help. Ill get some pictures up of the wrap and the bike before and after.

Also do most people do this wet or just dry? ha sounds dirty but wtf. Hoping some of the big dogs will chim in on this one.

Thanks

Re: How to wrap vinyl?

i would paint it.

as far as wet or dry.... def wet, and go buy a heat gun, squeegie (sp), and a pin. applying vinly is like painting, it takes sum practice to get it right and understand how the vinyl reacts. if u spent ur hard earned money on the vinyl i would and have never applied it b4. i would recommend taking it to a sign/vinyl shop and pay them to apply it. so this way if its ***'d up they have to fix it not you.

Where do you see air bubbles? Theres not one air bubble on the bitch. Only part that looks shitty is the sides which get covered up anyways.
