My katana used to do that when we tried to wheelie it. problem solved with new tire and more "pull up" on the front forks. Are you preloading ( pushing down on the forks and using the recoil) to pull up the front?

i got the same problem but think i will try to lean back a little more while clutching it up, and try to make it a fluid motion.

hahaha it has to wheelie! i said the same thing then one of the guys grabbed it and scraped my tail sec and my lis plate scraped off
the bana seater beater is ALL steel frame, if you can't get the front wheel up on that you are hopeless
do a burn out and heat the rear tire up a bit and see if that grabs with about 5-6k on the tack...bump ur idle up to 3-4k , couple small snaps on the throttle and one finger the clutch out....try a little at first then a bit more and a bit more till you are comfy hittin up hard to BP and use the rear brake to help out.
