What Your Favorite Rear Tire??????

Re: What Your Favorite Rear Tire??????
AVON Storm hands down!
Sickest tire Ive ever run. Super tread depth for tons of burnouts, good compound for drifting but hooks at the same time, you can go wide and tight and spin like animal! You wont know the ruthlessness that this tire brings until you try it!
And dont get me started on the magical Viper Extreme front!

Re: What Your Favorite Rear Tire??????
the bto20's are the race tire right? If so, thats what I just got (a battlax race takeoff)
and damn that ****** handles burnouts great! I've been burnign it off everywhere still tons of tread (compared to my pilot that destroyed on one burnout lol)
edit: plus it actually HOOKS cold.. pulling out of my garage in 50 degree weather clutching it hard and it just pulls the front straight up

Re: What Your Favorite Rear Tire??????
I just purchased tires, and was looking for a hard rear and a sticky front.
Ended up trying a Tommahawk SC3 rear ($83 shipped) and a Pilot Race Full Soft front ($94 shipped).
The Tommahawk has super deep tread and looks like it'll last forever. The Pilot Race is a no-brainer.

Re: What Your Favorite Rear Tire??????
anything from a 2ct-BT002 for a front tyre...But a rear, the bridgstone BT50 is an excellent stunt tyre, it drifts with ease, has enough grip for launching any type of wheelie and it lasts long enough to do burnouts whole day long over and over again....
Other than that I will go for any tyre without wire in it.... nylon tyres are just the best...(doesnt cause so much damge when its time to pop it)

Re: What Your Favorite Rear Tire??????
Exactly. I tried a set of those a while back and the rear was great. The front was a whole different story. I tried anywhere from 20-36psi in that front tire but it would just lock up everytime I tried to do a stoppie. Didn't matter what road surface or temperature.

Re: What Your Favorite Rear Tire??????
i like the bt 015 for a front. i had it on my zx ten for a while and with my stock tire the front would slide but with the bridgestone it hooked and was awesome for stoppies...and the 021 has to be the longest lasting tire in the history of sportbikes. i know one dude that has had the same tire since 05. street, stunt. it has absolutely no tread on it now but last time i was him it still hooked and came up fine.
