Can anyone confirm this? I have a windscreen and was pulled over for no eye protection when i was test riding my bike down the street (one block from my place). Im in IL. WTF??

and up here in canada, if you have an open face helmut then you need tranparnt clear lenses on , but having a visor up on a FF helmet is the stupedest thing i have ever heard. that cop probly just got kicked out by his old lady....

 

I was pulled over for "getting on it to hard" Asked him if i was speeding or excessive accel, and none of the above... just "getting on it to hard" was his response. busted me for inspection sticker.

fight the visor up thing. how does he know that you weren't trying to let a fly out or you sneezed and couldn't see. i would say it would be easy to fight that. as far as the mirrors get one of the cheap ones and strap it to ya handle bars. eventually he will keep bugging you and you can file harassment charges. if ya just lay down the po po will walk all over ya.

 

I got a ticket for "excessive acceleration". Just like you, I wasn't speeding, didnt break the tires loose, nothing. This was in my car

 

with visor all that need s to be said is that you need to clear out ur helmet from fog, bugs, sweat, heat for a brief moment. not on a hwy so your good beans......out of 1000 cops maybe 5 are cool

 

i dont even have a visor and have never been pulled over for that ****. if i was i would just tell the cop to **** off

He admitted to no inspection witch is worse than the visor ticket and he prob coulda impounded him too for no insp.

yes man when the aurora borealis blinds me with it's bright lights i use the ridium shield, how bout you NB-stunna? my iridium started getting the color fucked from cleaning it tho.....went to the clear screen....i like both

 

unfortunately cops say the same thing to us FTP (**** the public) I dont like cops either they just look for fault instead of trying to help out a citizen who made a mistake good luck

i got followed by a cop that arrested me a month b4 for possession. i saw him as i was leavin the gas station, i was headed to my buddys house, and he followed me for 3 miles thru neighborhoods, pulled me over for failure to indicate at turn, which was bs cause he was behind me the whole time, i seen him. he said i didnt indacate at 100 ft, but i did indacatd at 150ft or so.
a bullshit reason to get pulled over, then he wants to search my truck,i gave no consent, but he did anyways, i was ridin clean and after 30 mins of diggin thru my truck he couldnt find ****...
pig got super pissed gave me a warning for failure to indicate. **** that pig, you aint got **** on me ,im file a report to internal affairs and get his pig *** fired.

I think it's still worse in U.S. but it's getting more and more fucked up over here as well, have you heard about that passenger of a car jailed for 5 years because he had not asked the driver to slow down before she killed someone (she got 9). And most recently that poor fellow - 47 years old, riding with his 14 years old son who was his pillion on a Hayabusa - who was jailed (sic!) for 6 months due to speeding at 122mph when caught on a GATSO camera?
