i got a 07 600 gixxer and i was wondering if any body could tell me how to take care of this problem. the fuel injection systems light comes on and alternates in the display area with the coolant temperature and the red indicator light stays on. can anyone tell me whats goin on or how to take care of it ? thanx in advance for any ideas or advice

 

Check your battery connections to see if they may have rattled loose

 

well depends. could be alot of stuff. reset the cpu. (unplug the battery) an see if it goes away. if not. is your FI light comin on too? that is a seperate problem hard to tell wit out seein it lol. tell us when its comin on? right when started after a while? after you crashed?

 

when the bike is started or just with the ignition on? you need to give us more info....

it does this with the ignition alone on and it does it with the engine on too. the FI light and red indicator light are on at all times. the bike still starts and runs. however i have to keep charging the battery because i think its the stator that went bad. i mean, thats all i reallt know is that the battery doesnt keep its charge. i dont know if these problems are related.
