Need a round bar for my clean *** street bike, and want something that will fit! I dont want to have to cut my tail, undertail, or grind the round bar to make it fit....I just want order something that will just bolt on my bike without mods....

Any ideas? Besides SI

 

i got a powers. I like the bar but i wouldn't like the waiting time if you ordered it. Thats all i got.

well you always here about the wait for powers.
I was lucky and bought mine off a guy in my city. So i had no wait time.
2 years ago i waited 6 weeks for a cage i ordered.

 

a J Beats round bar I believe mounts just inside the tail fairing...I may be wrong idk

 

Thats about what Ive been waiting anyways, I ordered 2 round bars and one sub cage on Jan 31st...And still nothing

So as long as that Powers fits once it finally gets here, Id be happy with waiting 6 weeks...I wont actually get to ride my street bike till about May anyways...

Its just that no matter how I tried to mount the last SI round bar, I had to either grind the top of the flat stock or trim the undertail.. The way it was it will simply not fit under the plastics without modding something...And I looked for pics, and everyone mounted it differently Some bolted to the top subframe tube and grinded the bar, and some mounted to the bottom and cut the undertail to fit...

So you got any pics of that round bar installed? Tail and undertail?

 

Thats 905 right? I said Id never buy something from them again, but **** I just might have to

 

i didn't have to cut anything. it fits really well. Just had to drill the holes to mount it.

Ill check for some pics.

 

Why don't you make your own round bar? If it turns out as good as your stunt stays you could sale those too

I simply do not have time, Ive got so much on my plate already...Just finished my 09 ZX6R, and now I have to start on another one from the ground up. Have to rebuild my street bike, powder coat everything and all...Build stays for people almost daily, and work my 8-4 day job...I got here at 8am, its 8pm right now and I wont be going home till 12pm...

If something is on the market I would just like to buy it, most things I make....I make because there is nothing out there to buy, or I already bought it and its ****...

 

i use a SI and it pretty much came right out where the tail light would be. i dont have a tailight cuz mine is lot only. the undertail is just barely trimmed but it looks clean and flush to the bar plus you can keep all of the top of the tail. you could just get a led tailight. ill take a pic for ya when i get home.

my SI round bar was at my door within 3 days of ordering. that was just like 3 months ago. might wanna call them. im sure they will straighten it out.

 

Don't think you have to cut for 905. I have one, it's solid and performs well. You will have to mod the taillight though.
