CBR900RR front suspension setup for endos
I did the performance bikes set up for my "blade" a few months back.Its pretty firm,I like the way it handles.....but it seems like every time I try to bust an endo....the front wheel just slides.....(I have 1 line showing on the tube,and the rebound is pretty stiff,not sure though how many turns it is in.)what do most of you guys use for getting the front end to load up properly.?

i dont ride a nine-hundy.. so i cant say for sure, but what kinda tire you running? i would say it's probably a crappy tire issue.
on the stock dunlops my R1 locked up all the time doing stoppies.
with M1s or good tires, no problem. even with one of the forks blown she still stoppies like a champ

Hmm... 1 line showing on the tube? I'm assuming you are talking about preload (ride height). Preload works like this... The fewer the amount of lines showing, the higher the ride height. The more lines showing, the lower the front of the bike. You should be making it lower in the front not higher.
I would like the see the Performance Bikes set up for the 99 900RR. I tried to get it although they removed it from their site. I have a 99 900RR as well. I was a corner worker for CA Superbike school at Watkins Glen this past May. I took the CBR (which is not my stunt bike yet, bought in in mint condition for $3000 this past winter, needed minor work) to WG without changing the suspension setup. The CBR's setup is great out of the box. Only the top 5% need to mess with suspension settings. Well except maybe for static sag...! BTW the CBR is very stable, I was knee dragging through every corner eating dudes on R1s, GSXR1000s, etc. and the instructors were eating me alive on 03 ZX6Rs
(its all rider ability on the track)
Anyway, I would set the suspension settings back to factory and adjust the static sag in the front of the bike. Adjusting the static sag will lower the front of the bike (just a little!) to your weight making it optimal. There is a little to the process although if you go to any bike shop they can help you do it.
I'm not a stoppie king although I know a little about bike setup and what may help or hurt. Hopefully someone who can stoppie 300+ ft will have some feedback to give.

PS: What kind of front tire do you have? I run Pirelli super corsa on the front of my ZX6R, they stick linke nothing else. Thew uses the same I noticed. (find a used one at a local bike shop)

Yeah I bought a brand new Battlax for the front(which I think is discontinued.??), and my bike stoppied like a champ. Ease up on the brake a little more. Certain roads (to me anyway) were easier to stoppie on ie no slick stuff/"glazing" on the surface.
