ok peeps /editing guru's /wiz's /buddys

i need to know what setting would be the best stunting vids to load onto vimeo my cam is full HD cam (acvhd) built in flash drive

obviously i wanna keep the quality as sharp as i can but still keep the size under the 500mb weekly limit

this is what i have to select

dv-ntsc is pretty much the standard regulation for U.S. TV... DV-PAL is UK and other country's

shouldnt have a problem with any as long as they are compressed and saved as .avi

im watching the video tutorials that cs3 came with . the vids are very very detailed and descriptive

but i couldn't understand the compression settings best for what i want

i may have to watch it over afew times

LOL...now you should be glad I am going to be clear across the country, because otherwise I would clonk you on the head!

Choose the AVCHD preset, then its just a matter of how you shot your footage,,,1080i or 1080p...I just looked and there are PAL presets for both...

PAL is either 50i if you shot 1080i or 25p if you shot 1080p...

i was assuming that 1080 what going to be a huge file when i rendered/exported it .......... to big for vimeo


im playing around near the end stages of premiere pro (rendering /exporting) but when i go to render/exporting it just bring up a caution looking sign it say cannont find the file it must of been moved or removed

anyideas?

thats at that time

it comes up

i select setting then hit start converting

and thats when the little caution thinging comes up saying its either moved or removed

do you think it has anything to do with the fact im not using the acvhd setting

it might be...to be honest thats a little wierd because the file should not move between the beginning of the render process and the actual render...not sure about this one...

be sure you selected the whole sequence in the title bar before opening media encoder.

use these settings when you pop up media encoder, and it should play smoothly on vimeo in HD
