what dos it mean when a f4i dos a hella hard jerkin in 2 gear only????? it feels like 1 if i was to keep pulling in the cluch when i get on it hard so the bike keeps going yut ughh yut ughh yut ughh lol or 2 its fallin flat on its face in the power side ????? let me no what you think

have you ever had a chain slip on a sprocket???? just think of it jumpin on the sprocket and then it lockin up and you picture the jerkin it would be doing??? now my bike is doing that when i twist that lil thingy on the right lol

 

no if i throw a rev i cant even tell anything is wrong is only in 2 gear and its kinda crazy when your doing a wheelie and your bike wants to cheap cluchin up

 

could be some of the teeth on second gear are sheared off? that would make sense as to why it is only doing it in second. i could be totally wrong though.

 

dont trip im just lookin for ideas and places to look for. if my trannys fucked i have no prob takin that thing apart cuz i miss yut ughhh in 2 gear

 

so wait...it only does it at idle? if so, it may just be that the bike is struggling to keep you rolling. as you probably know, the bike really doesnt make much power at all when its at idle. it progressively makes more torque, then the torque curve falls off as it is developing horsepower. at idle, both numbers are low.

if its all thru the rev range, i go back to my original idea of possibly a few teeth stripped off second gear in the tranny. cant really be sure though. i would wait and see if other people think of something else. may save you from tearing the bike apart that much.

 

i did play with my idea so maybe that the deal ill play with it and let you no thanks a lot dude

 

if youre idle is less than 1200, im almost sure thats it. if you raised it, then im clueless. hope you get it figured out

ok i set her at about 1500 rpms and its still doing it if feels like it maybe helped a lil and i dont think its a gear cuz i think i would feel it when riding but everything is smooth intell i snap it

 

raise it to about 2000...if you dont notice a good difference by then, it is something else. mine is a bit jerky even in first at 1400...so being jerky in 2nd at 1500 doesnt really surprise me
