yeah... you pretty much get $1000+ fine, suspended license, impounded bike... whatever the **** they feel like honestly. it's florida, they kinda make up the laws as they go. < and i'm not exaggerating that.

Really sad about this. I was really thinking about packing up and moving to Tampa. That law made me want to stay here. Can't leave these ct streets we get away with a lot of **** up here. Bouncing on cops and getting away is pretty normal in the summer up here

there is no wheelie law in ny. they just group it in with reckless driving, disorderly conduct or even imprudent speed ive seen lol. and with the right approach you can beat all of those charges in court without a lawyer. well so long as you werent doing a 100mph power wheelie throught traffic. and no u dont lose your license just for doing a wheelie, unless you already have a bunch of points on your license and that ticket sends you over. nor do they take your bike away from you.

not exactly.

from the palm beach post:

Upon first conviction on those charges, the driver would have to pay a $1,000 fine. The second time, they'd have to give up their driver license for a year and pay a $2,500 fine. On the third conviction, their motorcycle or car would be confiscated and they'd lose their license for 10 years.

the bad part isnt even about the wheelies or the 50mph over the speed limit. cuz i mean really, if you pull over once and get that 1000 dollar fine for either offense youre a ****** moron if youre out doing it again and actually stop for the police. the crazy **** is that those same tiered punishments apply now to not having your ****** license plate properly affixed. must be atleast 18 inches off the ground, mounted horizontally, to hard mount, plate light, centered, not under the tail blah blah. i mean imagine paying a 1000 dollar fine cuz your ****** plate light doesnt work

VERY TRUE! but do you know how hard it is to find a parking lot of a business that cares that little about their liability to actually say,'yes, sir you can go ahead and tear up my parking lot'
i know it happens, but very few.

the best is just finding your own secluded private parking lot/loading dock, like the one i have in pt. orange. right across the street from my apartment. even if cops come they cant give you a ticket, just ask kindly to leave.
