Ok so my stepdad said he knows this dude who's selling a bike, and he's seen it (I haven't cause its 7 hours away) and its nice etc. He doesn't know what kind it is, besides the fact its a Kawi sportbike. All he knows about the looks is its all black, the headlight is a single rectangle, and its "got a big tank, not like one of those little race bikes, a big tank". I was thinking a 80s-90s bike.

Basically looking for suggestions on what kind of bike it could be. The dude who has it doesn't know anything about it. He just bought it for a grand off some dude (supposedly runs fine and has a clean title) and might sell it to us for two stacks (some friend eh?). Would a 80's-90's bike be worth two grand? I'm just kind of confused cause I can't see it so I really don't know what kind it could be since I'm not too familiar with older models.

Ideas on possible bikes is appreciated.

 

No.. I wouldn't give $1g for a 90's bike unless it was like a 99... Anything older even less.. Very few bikes that would be worth a **** from the pre-fuel injection stuff.
