Looks Good, the intake covers would look better if you could fit them on the inside

Yea it looks good.id just eliminate the airbox ones, looks kinda tacky and like alittle to much of it in one area since the other is in between the part of frame.2cents

good idea,,, how about hot gluing the mesh on the back or epoxy? and ditch the zip ties

Maybe.... But I could see how someone thought they were permanent... it kinda looks like he went overboard on em. If it was me... I'd probably only have like 3 or 4 zip ties on it if it was only just to stick em up there to see what people thought, not sixty seven...

Plus I gotta admit... I'm with Guru on this one. I don't like it at all.
Paint the **** black and put it only on the subframe and tank sides.... Covered solid tho on those, like gixxer ram airs maybe, but that frame loop **** is goddy as hell!
Again, you asked so that's just my . Props on customizing your stuff to try to make it your own.

 

engine goes in next week, just waitin on ronayers for a few motor mount bolts i need.

2-3 zip ties PER piece max is you'd need to hold it in place for show

He has plenty of zip ties on there to ride nad not have to worry about it falling off

 

I like it, looks good minus zipties but in february of super streetbike mag theres a gsxr 750 that has it painted red looks real good.

 

kinda had to go overboard on the ties. had to make a bunch of cuts on the inside edge of the mesh so it contoured the opening, rather than just have straight lines. everywhere you see a zip tie it's cut between them. they will all be gone once i epoxy it in. i agree with you on paintin em black though. i like 'em , but to each his own. thanks for your opinion..its appreciated
