To Snitch? Or Not To Snitch?
Re: To Snitch? Or Not To Snitch?
I think I read it too late to take part in the main thread discussion but I do believe it's not easy to advise on the topic. To be honest I got tired after 8 pages
I don't like cops. I don't like rats. The main problem though is that our SL friend needs some reassurance because of being scared. It's natural if you live next to a thief and you're not a bad guy yourself.
If you keep your nose clean you'd rather not get involved.
The truth is if you ARE tough enough you can do whatever you want, I mean you can snitch or not it doesn't matter really if you're not afraid of anyone. You do what you feel is right. Of course if you live on the other side of law you rather don't snitch but we know loads of them do. They rat on each other to get a deal with prosecutors, police and so on. There are some who don't but even they can use the police as a "tool".
If you watch a lot of DeNiro or Pacino films you start believing tough guys don't snitch but life is not black and white. I wonder why you think telling sth. to the guy whose bike was stolen is not snitching ??? You don't know him, and I think cops shouldn't have given our pal's no. to the 'victim'.
I think our colleague after stopping by for curiosity and talking too much is a bit afraid now and would love to go back in time. It doesn't work like that unfortunately and he has to make up his mind what to do on his own.
By the way, everyone would like to see a bastard who stole one's bike with his/her knees broken, spitting blood and definitely feeling sorry for wrongdoing...
In Saudi Arabia they cut off hands after four witnesses confirm that they saw sb. stealing. That's some deterrent and maybe they're not that stupid.Apart from some sick tricks you cannot ride with no hands, can you?

KARTEL. . . has lots of good points. . .in the case that the guy is referring too in the original post is he really has nothing to do with it and i think it is wrong that the cops through him in the middle by giving the victim his phone number that is what is confusing me. . .how did the victim of this crime get your number
