i have permission from the city to shut down a road on friday from 4pm to 8 pm for practice.it is south airline road for those of you with mapquest. the cops will not issue any tickets during this time that we are on the road practiceing!!!! pimp ****!!!! contact me for more info!this road is 20 min north of the track!

Yo, share the knowledge on how you worked them. We aint go no places to go here and I don't wanna sound like a pu$$y but I'm tired of runnin' from the po-po

 

basicly i had to give a presentation. i had to sell them that this is a legitamate sport. it took a lot of time and patientce. but this is one more step for stunters in s.e. wisconsin. i showed them footage of my group,346extremez, footage of the starboyz event during bike week, and super street bike mag. to prove to them that we are not a bunch of squirlly kids that go out and just do it with out knowing what we are doing. i ended up having to do an elevator and ski behind the bike for the town administrator and then he got the point. so we got the road. besides i figured it would really suck not to be able to practice b4 the comp. or for you guys to come down for the comp. and get a shitload of tickets. and beleive me.....we get our share of tickets.

 

that's hot man, i got to try something like that, not even many roads around here though to use it for. Sometimes I dream the airstrip people let us use their stuff for free but that's just a dream

we already have it covered in burn out marks and i am bringing a couple of garbage cans and a truck for broken parts and plastic.

 

How are you going to deal with the burnouts??

 

How does insurance, liabilities and all the leglistic crap work with the whole deal? Did all the riders who want to use the street have to sign waivers ? It seems like the city would have you do that if they are "letting" you practice on "their" street. Do they give you documentation of this if and when the cops come to mess with you?

 

we have written saying its cool we do this. as far as liability its the same as if your out stunting anywhere else. at your own risk.
