First session on my 50 after stunting a bicycle for a year prior, but bicycle didnt teach me footbrake control

few crashes

 

my first sesh was a mess scraped and crash like 5 times just trying to get used to the confined area

 

I didn't crash but the lot was so small I remember trying a hc and allmost drove straight into the woods.
Allso got bp spreaders from riding in a small lot.

Good old ups those were the days hahaha. If your from mass you know what spot I'm talking about.

 

I showed up to the lot with my 50 to see about 15-20 guys killing it on their streetbikes and 50's..I thought i was dreaming. . I sat in my car out of nervousness and didnt get out for the first 20 minutes..... then tried saying I didnt want to ride because I twisted my ankle.... which was total . I played it off for a bit until 1 guy called me out and said " some of us only came out tonight to see you ride, so are you just going to stand there or actually do something " so I busted out the 50 and did some wheelies then waited for the criticism that came shortly after...... Ill never forget that night and im lucky to ride with the guys I ride with now

 

my first session was hilarious, would clutch up trying to catch idle, if I scraped i'd jump off and watch the bike launch itself

 

that was me yesterday - Too fin impatient to wait to mount the 12 bar -HAD to go out ! Tried catchin bp from dead stop.. needless to say the bike tumbled a few times and did some nice damage Glad i bought a really crunchy stunner to learn on

Well that makes me feel better j/k nice progression

 

i dont like those ******** that say they've only been riding a year and blah blah blah doing circles now....don't believe that . if they just started stuntriding then they've been riding dirt bikes forever or something. This **** is hard!!!! No easy way to learn it. That's why its like the navy seals...only the dedicated ones can make it. It takes hundreds of lot sessions to figure this crap out.

 

is a 12 bar really that crucial for learning? No one else learned scrapin tail?

 

Im sure all the OG's here learned crunchin tails and bustin asses However, if i had it i think (i hope, i wonder) if it would have helped me from that O-**** situation at 1 and 130 were I bailed - And there have always been 2 skools of thought 1) crunch tails to learn, 12 bars are not forgiving!! 2) 12 bars should stop a loop, it'll suk if u hit it hard, and on a gix itll prob kill the sub, but its somethin However, Ill go wit option 2 and see howit goes, cuz option 1 fin suk'd for me so far

To each his own i guess...

 

O- and yes, if i had hit the brake i wuld have been ok - i no However, for wat ever fin reason (survival instinct i guess) i bailed... gettin toppled by the bike just didnt sit well with me

 

ive only been riding about a year and i got circles

 

first lot session was when i borrowed my buddies 929 that was mad ****** ghetto, with a sprocket the size of a pizza on the back, gunned it in first trying to wheelie and almost punched myself in the face with the tank LOL, somehow i put it down pretty nicely and didn't dump it, i had no idea what was goin on then haha

 

yea - My boy Mike (i sold him a NEW 07 Gix 6) had no prior exp - Busted his *** for a year, street and recently lot - and now has learned sit-down circles (cant do stag or ss O's yet, but quik as *** learn'r) Bike looks like **** But he is killin it for only ridin 4 a year.. But again, went hard and steady - probly got 25K on the bike in a year or so.. So i guess it just comes more natural for some ppl
