Clutching a wheelie?

My biggest problem is I have to use my whole hand not that I'm weak just the clutch is stiff I see a lot of one finger deals out there. What do I need to change to do the one finger and what is a good rear handbrake like what all do I need to do the handbrake?

Re: Clutching a wheelie?

Don't use the clutch

its unpredictable and dangerous

All the pro's ride 1000's so they can power it up at any speed

e-z pull clutch lever... im not sure if ho-hey makes a dual caliper set-up for a 919... if u cant get on of those then go full throttle but def get a brembo master

now towlie... we must guide the squidling not block it... and u left out the part where u hold the throttle at a steady rpm roughly at about 14000 rpm's and just let go of the clutch side all together

Re: Clutching a wheelie?

I'm stock gear and my 919 gets up some dangerous speed if I throttle it up I was able to clutch it up to bp today and did it several times found standing on the back left passenger peg helped and I could still cover the rear brake I could hold the wheelie as long as the road would go. I would go from getting it up then it would slow down and feel just like the bike didn't need to use any of its power just coasting and barley using the throttle. Sorry but what is a squid, I know its a term I get called a lot but not by stunters so what is it in the stunt world.

Re: Clutching a wheelie?

Cut the lever so you only use your index finger. With the rest of the lever gone it won't be hitting your knuckles.

Is that why you only ride a 600?
Everybody I have talked to said rev my bike to around 5 or 6k stand on the back passenger peg with one foot cover the brake with the other and drop the clutch right as i hit 5 to 6k at around 10mph it has worked real good I don't feel like I'm going to bust my *** anymore and the bike loves to stay up has a pretty wide bp from what my friend told me and there is enough power stock to pull it up without a whole lot of rev's

My clutch feels to stiff to do with just one finger, What all do you do to convert to a ez-pull is it a kit or just some parts I change on mine?

its a lever with 3 different settings on it... it just changes the leverage... u can get one at hai.com. and if u cant (i heard they closed)... go to warpedtoys.com... they def have at least 4 of them in stock... or at least they did last week... and they cost roughly around $40

Nope not giving anybody shat just him for telling me everybody is leading me wrong and the 100's of how to wheelie videos. I'm sure pro's drive 1000's I watch superbikes but I think its cause they have more street/stunt power and since they have been stunting for awhile they can handle the extra weight. Just felt like calling him out though, I know I am a noob and nowhere close to being anything more than a skidmark on the pavement in the stunt world but we all start somewhere and never met a stunter who didn't talk shat from time to time thats why most of us get along is because of our unique personalities and one common interest that we all want to improve on so without criticism we would all think we are the best when were just starting.
