math
Re: math
well I ment the cam design itself, lift duration and timing. I was trying to simplify something as much as possible that isnt simple. Long stroke high displacement engines make power at low rpm, where smaller shorter stroke engines require high rpms to move the same amount of air. Lift, duration and yes timing effect the velocity and quantity of the air that is entering and leaving the cylinder which directly effects fuel air mixing, and the nature of how your 4 stroke engine makes power. Your very correct though I should go back and edit out timeing and replace it with design.
