Re: impaktech f4i cage

2 questions...

1- any vids or pics to prove the reliability?

2- how thick is the material used? it looks thin to me, hence my doubting it's ability to work properly.

cuz im buyin either yours or tygershark within the next week. im wracking my brain trying to figure out which one is better , its hard to tell since i cant see them in person!

Re: impaktech f4i cage

i still dont get why nobody utilizes the swingarm axle as an additional mounting point. i know f.i. does but i mean that and the other motor mounts too. 3 bolts on each side of the bike, boom boom boom, and no undercrossbar.

hey thats no doubt a killer cage tho. ***** got nickels stacked and doesnt even need paint.

#1.. no.... but if you think it cant handle some damage .. then get something else...
#2 if you know anything bout tubing and material.. then you should know this... motor mounts ... .95 CHROMOLY... the rest is ....a combo of .95 DOM and .120 DOM ... and... if you really want your frame to break in half before the cage budges... then i will personally make yours out of ALL .120 wall tubing. DOM...which would be EVEN MORE TANK THAN TANK!

i believe the only thing you can mount at the swingarm axle would be a flat bar like F.I. and tubing there.. would interfere with leg movement...

his DOES use 3 points, AND a crossbar though..

And the ONLY way to use the swingarm bolt, is to use a shitty all-thread, that will snap very easily (went through a few on my SI cage)

Re: impaktech f4i cage

Somewhere on stuntride I read you can only rock one of these if it's SF... will it not clear with the side fairings on there?
