brake reservoir tubes sweating
What kind of clear tubing for the brake fluid reservoir doesn't sweat brake fluid threw it. Have tried a couple types and they all have started sweating fluid threw them after a few weeks.

you pretty much need to use the rubber reinforced hose like the factory stuff. I used some soft grey fuel line that I had left over from putting a fuel shut off valve on my yamaha snowmobile, it was the exact same line that came on the sled from the factory, it took longer to start sweating than the clear but it did sweat...... whats the stuff from stuntsteel? is that from brembo? does it sweat over time??
Re: brake reservoir tubes sweating
hell yeah....ok... so what makes that one not sweat ....???
Re: brake reservoir tubes sweating
Haha, ya thats what ive been doing, if you wait long enough they will stop sweating but they turn white and you cant see the air bubbles any more, i like being able to see the air bubbles in the tube so its worth changing them out to me.

Ive been buying that clear hose from Yoyodyne for about 5 years now.....
Its the best clear hose Ive found in all those years Re: brake reservoir tubes sweating
Do they make a larger diameter hose for a nissin master not the smaller 6m hose for the brembo's
Re: brake reservoir tubes sweating
thats what i run and no sweat here
Re: brake reservoir tubes sweating
After about a year it starts to get a little foggy, but it till never sweats or hardens....I still change it about once every year to keep it clear...
BTW a Nissin master should use the same 6mm size that a Brembo uses, the only time Ive ever needed the larger sizes was for rear masters on race bikes.....
