Srad 600

Hey guys been riding for a few years now and I am able to do the normal things (sit down, stand up wheelies). I am driving a 1999 Gsxr 600 Srad. I would like a few opinions on this bike. I have heard mixed opinions on this bike. Some of the people I have talked said this bike is too heavy, and just too big to stunt, but then i have heard the other spectrum. I was just thinking of selling the Srad and buying an F4 but I just dont know. Thanks for the Help.

Re: Srad 600

where you at in indy? other than the usual oil starvation problems of gsxrs I havent heard anything too terribly bad about the srads. Im sure it could be stunted. If it was me I would probably sell it and buy the f4i ( I love Mine ) they are cheap, reliable, easy to find, and easy to get stunt parts/info for. Being winter time it might be a good time to do this.

Re: Srad 600

you can stunt on pretty much anything. you will just be a bit safer with an f4/f4i. those things are tanks. i would say practice on your gixxer though. CRASH CAGE

by the way, welcome to the site

Re: Srad 600

Thanks for the welcome, I live on the east side of Indy. I go to school at Ball State so I am going back and forth from indy to muncie. That is very true that I will most likely get a better deal on an f4 now then in a few months.

Re: Srad 600

that srad is the perfect streetkiller and i would leave it as such. i remember seeing advertisements about how the srad starting in 96 showed windtunnel testing, and they are such a fat bodied bike like a 900rr easy to ride.....
