I have been asked as a mechanic to change powerbands about 20 times.
Everytime I park my Triumph or Buell somewhere, someone is bound to ask : "What is that?" I reply its a Triumph or a Buell. Then they say "Who makes that?"
Best story ever was a guy that claimed his 05 cbr600 would do 190 with a power commander and filter.......
And everyone believed him, including two guys I used to ride with.

I know a kid that said to me that he was doing Bp stand-ups between cars down the main road.
When i went riding with him, his wheelies we not long (at best) then 3 secs and were no higher then 1.5feet. I caught him out on that.
Another one.
A guy telling me he had some new **** on lock ( rulp louie's ) ( ss circles )
when seein him ride i only see one half ***'d attempts at trying idle. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ANYTHING HE SAID
Some of the best lines ive had someone say to me.
My mate has a r1, they are faster.
You cant wheelie a 600cc they dont have enough power.
You cant turbo 600cc bikes.
Clutching up wheelies is bad for the bike.
I like power wheelies cause its easyer.
Best one ive had someone say: Why not just go on the freeway if you want to do wheelies

i once heard a guy say hes so great at wheelies cuz he can shift through every gear in a wheelie while pickin up speed the whole way . i found out a few months later he looped a wheelie on the street trying to do wheelies

a long time ago while chillin on the waikiki strip being a super squid poser checkin out ***...these two australian guys was challenging the group i was with to see who could monar (australian for wheelie) the fastest down a 200 ft back alley that aimed right into traffic...they also told us storys of how they double front peg wheelie running from cops at 140 mph...

I had a guy at my work that always had some fuckd up stories about flying by Cops or getting in a serious wreck doing a 80mph wheelie on the HIghway. He goes without a bike for awhile then tells me he just got a new bike so im like "COOL'
He rides up to my work one night to show it off. then everyone is like "DO A WHEELIE...DO a Wheelie" so then im like "yeah Do a WHEELIE" Im thinking hes at least gonna do a POW POW. He just goes through the parking lot like 4 times (ZZZZOOOOOOOOOM,,,,,ZZZOOOOOOOOOOm) NO WHEELIE....he comes back towards us and hes like "THIS BIKE DOESNT WANNA COME UP"

......have any of you guys just been anywhere like a grocery store, or Walmart for example and someone is actually walking around with Full Gear and their Helmet still on?

@ squids I know of a certain Australian chick who looped her bike then told every one she only looped it because she did not have a 12 bar on the back yet
(no need to use brakes now guys the magic 12 bar does all the work

its a "Mono" its Australian for pop corn wheelie @ squids

you guys think bike stories are funny? anybody in the military knows at least 2 or 3 guys that tell these ridiculous stories about what theyve done since theyve been in... blah, blah, blah.
