The height is fully adjustable. Theres about 4inches of adjustability so you can set it to be exactly how long you want it to be. When your not using it, push it below the level of the seat and forget about it. The way its setup is it bolts to stock holes in your subframe and the bolts that are in the slots have lock nuts on the back. This way you set the preferred tension and you never have to use a tool on it again. This way in the middle of a run you can reach back, push it below the seat, and roll stoppies without the worry of gettn your spine broke in half!!

Gave away how we make them? There's 4 pictures that give away how we make them. Cost of steel, time invested, autocad time, Laser rates... It add up quick.

Sweet idea, but it has room for improvement. Weld the bolts in place and use wing nuts for adjustment so you don't need to stop riding and pull out the toolbox to adjust it. Second in the retracted position it should sit lower than the plastic seat pan. If the bike comes ove on you in a stoppie the seat foam will compress and still let it bite you in the back.

also, someone who was to make it in their garage wouldn't worry about autocad time and laser cutting. A rough sketch, plasma torch, and a grinder makes anywork look professional. :twocents
