As you see, I wanna set up my 03 636 for stunt! Bike will be 100% stunt bike, no streets.

so I was thinking about this parts:
-Tyger shark cj3
-Vortex clip-ons 50mm
-Moose E-Z pull clutch
-HHD dual caliper
+15 sprocket (Which one you tell me!?)

I have steering dumper on it, and Akrapovic Evolution with short pipe.
What else needs to be done on it to make it a good stunt bike!

SI cage, SI round bar and hole in seat (or flat bar and trim tail), OMR subcage, +10 to +15, Moose EZ pull, hohey dual, magura hb, Vortex clipons w/ flipped triple clamp, kleen mod, spare parts

 

Add some aftermarket rearsets (hohey) and invest in an 05+ front end

 

If your going full fairing I would stay away from Tyger Shark. I heard the roll pretty bad. But thats just what I heard.

do I need 1000rr brembo if I buy HHd dual caliper?

You can't go wrong with SI or TygerShark especially if going SF. It looks like you have a decent mod list going for you. As for the master you can use a front master and flip it, but be sure to get a radial master from a newer bike. I personally ran flipped stock clip ons and was happy with them, but I'm still a beginner and haven't seen the benefit of aftermarket clip ons for myself.

 

SI is just a better cage period. i have had powers, 905s, and SIs on my bikes and SI is the only cage i will ever buy now. (and im not sponsored by them) SI round bar too.


you dont need a brembo master for the dual cal. you can run a 1000RR, gix1000, magura, or brembo. realy any radial master is fine. stock caliper for your second cal unless you are getting the four piston set up. if you go four piston look on the ho hey website and it tells you what front calipers can be used.

go with OMR for the subcage. you wont regret it.

vortex or FI zero degree clip ons.

get an upper stay too. dont know who to recomend though. maybe johhny P [edit] just saw you are going SF. no upper stay needed.


might want to do a 05-06 front fork swap too. or get some sleeves for your stock forks.

take off all fairings



use what you got for now instead of buying stuff just to look good at the spot save your money untill it breaks then upgrade as needed or if you dont feel comfortable then upgrade but try everything stock first

 

i wouldnt go more than +10 for your gearing.

 

i use my bike strickly as a lot bike. i trailor it every where i got -1 +14 and i love it if ure gonna use it as a stunt only bike thats the way to go
and if thats a full system on it i would sell it and put a slip on it. will tame it down more at idle

 

Dont go with SI on the 04-04 636...now on the f4i, its Diesel...Until Ian starts using thicker tube on the 03-04 I wouldnt reccomend the SI cage for that bike...go with TygerShark on that bike...some cages just work better on some bikes than others

 

Ian is already redesigning the 03-04 cage with thicker side wall tubing. but i know for sure the tygershark cages roll up on the tank. but if you get everything from Ian he has free shipping until January

my 636 was a lot only bike as well, and i was -1 +10 and it pulled like a monster!

 

He said he was going to a couple months ago, didnt know if he got to it yet (didnt care I went back to an f4i ), I would wait for the new cage from SI then ...the only downfall to that cage was the tubing toward the rear mount, it was to long for that size tube, I had to bend it back and weld a piece of stock to the back to support it...other than that I had no problems with it

 

bike is kinda lazy until 12000 RPM, don't know what previous owner did to it, but that's why I was thinking about +15

yea I was thinking about selling Akrapovic Evolution and go with stock exhaust.
