They look strong... but incredibly simple... which can be good and bad.

A little more detail might make them appealing to the road racing guys as well.

Re: SI 05-06 636 Rear Set Pic

Tried out the wood craft rearsets for my 05 636 and I thought they were simple and plain. These look even more plain, the woodcraft are solid and these probably are to.

Have they been tested yet? Im curious on price as well as I paid less the $150.00 for mine.

the only difference i see between the two is hohey has his website engraved on it, and its more a stock replacement. and dont get me wrong, i like hoheys products, but the sick ones come with the pegs, and are solid, the hoheys use the stock pegs.

both have advantages and disadvantages.

i can tell you i have personally went through about 6 sets of stock rearsets on ebay any where from 10.00 to 70.00 a piece they are worth the money do it right the first time and it should be your last. Just ask ian ive broke many just at his spot alone.

Nice job Ian! Any side profile pics too? I'm curious how long the pegs are. These look beefey sort of like the ESD F4i ones with the nub pegs.

i understand that but he's gonna increase the strength of the rear set so in turn the frame tabs are gonna be the weak link. i don't know man i would rather break reasets instead of worrying about the frame.

Re: SI 05-06 636 Rear Set Pic

We can change the design to make them look " Cooler" if thats what everyone is interested in. Simple and strong was my main goal. That way there is less machine time, which in turn is a more affordable part and a quicker turn around.....

We can make the length of the pegs to what ever you want. Might make peg length an option on the site.

I dont think the frame tabs would be a weak point. they look pretty beefy on the 6thirtys. Just my opinion.

We could make them with plastic caps as well but thats going to raise the cost.

Stock rear sets are hot garbage. The ones we used to mock these up were cracked on the backside and dude that owns the bike had no idea.

I post things on here to get opinions so Thanks to everyone. Whats the verdict??

Keep this design, or make them fancier? My auto cad dude loves to be creative.
