even if you dont break them while straiten them i would not trust riding it when your done. aluminum should just be left alone it is a week material you start bending and stressing it it will fail.I would just buy the 636 clipons the dude below is selling
Re: bending bars
+1 with tanus and danger dave..
I box my clip on's with regularity...Then I take them out.. bend them back as straight as I can, and put them back in the base. I run FI and Vortex on each of my bikes and yes I run them loose.. even spun all the way around they'll bend... I run blank stock pieces of bar stock, and the bars that came with them both....
But you should know that a few bends in your bars aren't going to ruin them... lol
Now repeatedly bending it back and forth can make any metal weaker, but once just to get them where he wants them wouldn't make me not "trust" them to ride even for a second...

Re: bending bars
a little bend hear and there is one thing but if they look like i think they do thats a big bend. i just dont trust bending stock clipons cause the way they are designed.the bar can snap cleen off at the clamp ive seen it on an R6. now aftermarket 2 piece is a whole ball game i still think he should just snag the 636 clipons they are nice expesualy for the price dude was asking
I didn't even know someone was offering him some other clip on's for cheap...
AFtermarket ones right? **** spending any money twice!!!And I just got used to my clips swapped flipped and turned out eventually and then bought aftermarkets... It takes a short while and then you'll not like the feel of the straight ones when you upgrade!.
