Has anyone ever used a Honda or yamaha cable on their 03-04 636? That's the only dealer where I live. I'd rather go buy one on Monday instead of ordering one and waiting. Thanks.

id also like to know this...ive got a 00zx6r n i need a longer clutch cable. my cuz got the motion pro t2 cable for his 636 n it was a bit longer then stock. will that fit my bike as well? if not whats a long clutch cable that will fit cuz im runnin dirtbars. and ive tried every possibly way n the **** wont fit.

 

I just measured this stock 03 636 cable and its 45 inches long from end to end (NOT THE CABLE ITSELF, THE BLACK SHEATH LENGTH)

The Cable itself Extends 3 1/4" past the sheath when pulled. If that makes any sense.

Sambo, i had a 03 636 cable on my f4i but it was hella long. Ends fit fine though.

I wonder if a f4i cable would be too short I guess i'll try to get the dealer to measure one with my old one.

 

i checked my clutch cable lenght today and its super short compared to the 636. mines only 38" (measuring black sheath only) thats ****** 7" shorter. looks like im gonna buy a 636 clutch cable lol.

i got the 03-04 636 on my 05-06 636 , makes it hella easy much longer means easy
