two in one
first, what is the perfect example of a squid. i think i found it, but need help making sure
then my second thing(and not too worried about): what are your thoughts on clutchless shifting(i know, its on here...i figured i am posting something else, so what the hell)
berraco58: I bough t a brand new 2007 GSX-R750 3 weeks ago. I'm a half cool, half nerd so I've been stunting the hell out of it but not before reading the owner's manual cover to cover ... (please insert clownage here) ... anyways, I rolled with some of my homeboys this weekend and they have busas (5 of them). This is my first bike and the 750 was recommended as a first timer with discipline (ppl think I have a good head on me). Moving on ... the owners manual recommends taking advantage of the clutchless shifting feature to preserve the life of the clutch.
Clutchless Shifting Feature- Essentially it says to go from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd or .... 5th to 6th, let off on the throttle put pressure upward on the shifter and give it gas (all in one swift motion). This will smoothly go into the next gear. And it does exactly that, no jerk or nothing.
These older riders with Busas called that floating the clutch and didn't recommend it but were also unaware that this was in the GSX-R750 k7 manual. They said, they thought that doing this would ultimately bend my fork. Obviously I am siding with the manual but is Suzuki presenting this as an alternative to wearing out the clutch even though it may bend the fork or have they engineered this transmission so that clutchless shifting is possible with no damage to the fork??? Nube trying to learn ... Thanks.

berraco58: We clearly have two different definitions of stunting ... I could careless about wheelies, burnout and stoppies etc. I'm talking about riding slow dropping it into first and showing off how clean the bike looks and sounds. I'm staying on two wheels ... for the time being. But yeah them boys drive crazy. They've been driving 600s for 7 years ... it was time to trade up so they bought Busas. I'm limiting how often I ride with them.
Re: two in one
great when rolling down a hill with a red stop light at the bottom and your hands aren't on the the handle bars, while hitting your buddies kill switch that's along side you.
Re: two in one
i thought stunting involved skill, not just riding around town in first at 14k
