Re: F4i Dual Fan Radiator Cage

Take some more pics of the cage from different angles. What does it hold the bottom? What about the top? Does that just screw into the normal mounts? Got any pics of it mounted on your bike?

you have to drill out the stock mount its pretty easy. it mounts to the top and holds the radiator tight in its place. no more ripped tabs and no more zip ties. i will have more pics tomorrow of it painted and mounted. i have this one sold already to JMZ but they will be powder coated when finished

I take it you need the whole bike for measurement...if you just need a rad I got an xtra one, maybe we can work something out

that might work with the right measurements but i would much rather have the hole bike so i can make cage sub cage and 12 and round bar. but maybe if there is the demand for them.

Re: F4i Dual Fan Radiator Cage

i had a guy that got the idea of making a cage for my radiator on my f4i and is was too loose and rubbed holes in the **** make sure that the cage is really tight so it cant move or its wrapped with some kind of rubber or something. I just recently added a second fan on mine myself and made my own cage for it and its boss. hard gettin the radiator clean enough to make the welds hold but i got er done and now the bike never even thinks about over heating. good idea man. hope it works out with the sales

Thanks man ya i seen some other cages for these and seen alot of flaws. this cage does not touch the radiator any were els except the bottom so no rub rub.i might put some slim rubber shims on the bottom to help but it still uses the stock rubber mounts on top and the aluminum brace from the motor to help.

Re: F4i Dual Fan Radiator Cage

You finally made it????????? DUDE! I totally want one!!!!!!

I dont see any flaws in having 2 fans? I wish I had 2! last weekend my fan came unplugged and my fuse blew and my temp went to 254F....... a second fan hard wired to the battery with a bling bling toggle switch would be money in situations like that, and would be premo for hot summer days!

Is there any way to make a whole perimeter frame for the radiator?
