2005 kawi 636 stunted out
got a few questions.
i bought a 636 off of a good friend because he was scared of the bike... and I wanted to make it a stunt bike
i also own a 2007 R6 kinda stunted out and a 2007 gixxer fully stunted out.
but this thread is questions regarding the 636.
Anyways does anyone recommend good race pumps for it? ( fuel and oil ) not to run race gas or anything but just ones that can take more of a beating than the stockers.
Also does anyone recommend a good stunt sump for the bike? Or is there even a stunt sump for this bike? Or maybe someone knows a good trick so I can keep her well lubed when I keep her up for miles on end.
Thanks guys.
Cheers.

Re: 2005 kawi 636 stunted out
buy a oil pick up and ive never heard of any promblems with stock fuel pump, i race my 636 and never even heard of a aftermarket fuel pump that is worth the cost...hope that helps ya
Re: 2005 kawi 636 stunted out
recommend a good pickup/sump to buy?
also i would definitely like to upgrade my oil pump... recommend any good brands for that?
ive been reading that the kawi motors once started being abused can start to have problems fast with oil. so i wanna get things to steer clear of these problems for as long as possible.
thanx
cheers.

Re: 2005 kawi 636 stunted out
you dont need one man, its a 636 just fill it with oil to the top of the site glass thats it and you won't have any problem, the 03-04 are the same way and thats how i run mine and have wheelie for miles and miles at bp without any problems and have been doing so for over a year now, 6-7 miles at a time numerous times. my buddy does the same on his 05 636 and again has never had a problem.
what do you do to your R6 to make sure it gets good oil, probly half a quart overfull right?
