07/08 600rr vs. 07/08 R6
searched for a link but didn't find one.
Lookin to purchase an 07/08 cbr600RR or 07/08 R6 and just curious on which may be a better stuntbike, not as a lot bike but for a street stunter. i have a 636 fully setup for stuntin the lots and doing street stuntin as well but i like to ride twisties and everyday type of rides as well so i wanna run almost stock gearing add an HB, tank dent, and 0 degree clip ons and thats about it. I want something thats not going to be extremely hard to stunt, i've had an 05 R6 and they are hard to control on the streets cuz they are very snotty and jerky unless you murder the brake all day, my 636 is like butter and you dont even need a brake they are just that smooth. I have riden the Honda and it fits me great and i know Honda is generally a very smooth power deliver bike so i didn't know if anyone is more familiar with the R6 for street stuntin, and which may be a better choice. Any help would be appreciated.

I have an 08 r6 and I love it. Since you have a lot bike I'm sure either will work for you but I can't talk on the rr as i've never owned one. but my r6 is great, all I have is a power commander and exhaust. Great for riding wheelies down the highway and doing stoppies alike. I choose the r6 cause I go to the track a lot and from what I researched it was the way to go. you won't have a problem street stunting the r6.......

I love the R6...It has way more torque than the CBR...It comes up a lot easier and feels lighter up on one....I don't know about which one can take a stunters beating of dropping it but I think the R6 is a way stronger bike motor wise and feels way like it has way better mobility for wheelies and other stunts...

07 rr SUCKS for wheelies on the streets...
choppiest bike ive ever ridden, more choppy than a my old 900rr and from teh one time i rode an 05 1000rr, more choppy than that too...but it turns into corners like whoa

ive owned an 03 r6 and 05 600rr. the r6 was wayy better on the streets. the power was always ultra smooth, the honda was choppy as ****. dont know how that translates to the newer models..

Re: 07/08 600rr vs. 07/08 R6
I have had three R6's and only one 600rr...I ******* couldn't agree more!!! I only kept my 600rr for 2 months and got rid of it...Hated it for wheelies....It did feel a little bit more stable in turns then the R6 but that was the only thing good I had to say about the bike...But then again I am not a track guy and can't really get it over all the way to really know the difference... Oh yeah I hate there ******* seats to!!! Hard as ****!!!

I still haven't tried anything on one yet...I only rode my boys for like 15mins...That is gonna be my next bike to get....I heard they are way better as well...Everyone I know has one and says the same thing....Tony Prez, Phil, Supper stunna, Bruno, Nick, and the list goes on and on...

these bikes do not even compare to the 07, 08 rr and r6. i do agree that the honda has monster engine brake, and is choppy, but it is hands down a great track bike! i have spent a few track days on my 07rr, but i have not had an 07, 08 r6 on the track! im sure its a good ride, and i would love to test it out!
