05-06 CBR 600RR opinion pls

I have been using the search, I've been going through threads for hours I just need to know some hard facts on this topic. This question is more for this present time, now that all the stunt cages and scrape bars been around for awhile now, I need to hear from the 05-06 Honda CBR 600RR stunt riders who already experienced, tested, and proven these crash components such as Sick Innovations, Powers, Racing 905, FI, tigershark, etc... Same goes with 12 & round bars and upper stays if there are nice ones for this bike.

I need to be told what would be the best gear to bolt onto this bike I just got. So much reading and still sitting here wondering which ones to buy

05-06 CBR 600rr only

Thank you all in advance for helping

What ever you do stay the hell away from Fi cages for that bike, nothing against them but they just dont have a good cage for that bike. In my opinion Sick cage and omr subcage.

Re: 05-06 CBR 600RR opinion pls

/agree what both above me posted. SI or TigerShark for the cage, and OMR Subcage for sure. I say OMR because the pegs on that bike are so tucked under you'd have to be a fuking Ethiopian to not have your ******* calves rubbing all up against the damn rear fairing. That and the position is lower and more wide than stock...I'm sure OMR will be on here to tell you in better detail. And yes, do not buy a FI cage, not knocking 'em, but for our bike I've heard/seen the motor mounts crakin'...all bad. As for sprocket size, well, I went +10 up in the rear and loving it...granted I top out about 100mph/9k. I personally have the OMR with the SI cage and **** is rock solid. I'd recommend getting the aluminum sliders for the Si cage as mine would roll to the tank from time-to-time without 'em...the plastic ones would just break. =\ Hope that helps man.

What's the best way to mount the woodcrafts on this bike, over or under the triple?

  • The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
  • THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
  • All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

don't ride on this

and don't wait till this happens

get one of these instead

below is a picture that explains why i only sell folding peg subcages
if you look close you can see that the tabs were ripped right off this subframe and that is what can happen if the pegs on your subcage are solid ...folding pegs are the way to go
