05 636 HB adaptor scraping....

I ordered a HB adaptor for my moto and the **** is scrapin my swing arm nasty!!! any suggestions? HB is FTP by the way....

ouch... is there any way just to space the rear set out away from the bike at all.... like maybe just a washer width or so

i was thinkin the same just to put spacers in between the frame and the rearset but i wanted to get opinions to see if i did anything wrong or if FTP just f'd up on the design of this thing cause this sucks i dont want it to bust my **** on a whellie an leave me wit out a back brake.....

the same thing was happening on my F4i, i just put some spacers behind the rearsets to bring them out a bit

What kind of adaptor is that? It sticks out way farther than my full throttle adaptor did. just spin the master a lil so it points straight out instead of cocked toward the swingarm.

maybe your rearsets are bent in a little or flex in when you come down from a stoppie , put some spacers behind it

cool spacers it is...... i guess the design wasnt thought out enough.... and this is a new rearset i snapped my other one a while back those things are weak as hell..... sum one told me to dent in my swing arm!!!! yeah right!!! i was even thinkin bout switching the adaptor and the lil cover on the outside to try and bring it out but i think the spacers are the best bet.... thanks!!!

tried that doesnt stay it ends up spinning back.....
