Re: help with hand brake

bleed it at the brake first then bleed it at the master... continue over and over. they can be a bitch sometimes but it should come. fill it full of fluid and put the cap on then tie a zip tie to the brake holding it to the handle bar and leave it like that over night. that could help bleed it out and if that doesnt do it then you may have problems with your master... i had the same problem and i coudnt figure it out till i put a new one on.

Re: help with hand brake

once you have pressure at the FB, run like 4 or 5 resivors worth of fluid through the system using the FB. The HB should be close to solid at this piont, then just bleed like 1 res. worth of fluid through the HB and it should be completly solid.

Re: help with hand brake

id try to bleed it on the throttle side so it is on the right way that its made to be set up then flip it over keeping the resivor above the brake

Re: help with hand brake

Had The Sam Problem A While Back. Brembo Hb To Fullthrottle To Caliper. Bleed It Got Some Pressure In It But Was Spongy. Then I Took A Wrench And Started To Tap The Caliper And Worked The Way Up The Line To The Fullthrottle. Noticed A Sh*tload Of Bubble In The Resivor.

Then I Bleed It At The Caliper. Tapped It Again Lot Of Bubbles Coming Up To The Resivor, Bleed It At The Fullthrottle Banjo Bolt. Tapped Agin To The Hb Then Bleed It At The Hb.

** P.s. Wait To Bleed It Each Time Til No/ Very Little Bubles Come Up Thur Resivor***
Cut The Bleeding Time To 15 Mins On A Empty Hb And Brakeline. Hb Rock Solid Now. It Make Sense Just Think Of The Bubble Gettin Stuck And The Tapping Moving Them Up The Brakeline.

Tried The Vaccum Had A Hard Time. Even Took It To My Buddys Shop Used A Compresser Power Vacum Bleeder. Didn't Work Either.

Good Luck Hoped It Helped.

Re: help with hand brake

Buy a $12 vacuum bleeder from Auto Zone. All i did on my gp adapter was hook it up, hook up the vacuum to the rear caliper bleeder, pump pressure, then start pumping the handbrake fluid through. I went through about 2-3 refills on the handbrake resevoir. Both hand and foot brakes were solid.
