I have a 04 front end and wanted to put the better 05 forks on.

can I just buy the 06 fork tubes, what can I still use from 04 front end on the 06 front end

Im talking, tripples, rotors, wheel, calipers, forks.

all you need is

the 05 06 07 forks
the 05 06 07 dics rotors and
the 05 06 07 front fender

everything else can be used but the above parts are a must other wise it wont work

Yep. Slide the 05-06 forks into your 03-04 tripples, with either front wheel, and the 05-06 rotors and calipers. You'll need the 05 and up front fender like the first dude said.

Bonus points for using the sweet split-spoke 05 and up wheels, but not necessary if you're short on paper.

 

so you need the 05 and up calipers or will the 04 calipers work?

if you want to be ghetto and do it the broke-*** way you can make the 03/04 fender work...

mine has 05 zx10 forks, axle, rotors(same as 05/06 636), lower triple and a 03 wheel, calipers, upper triple and fender... you need to get aftermarket bearings for the wheel and use the 03/04 steering stem in the 05 zx10 lower triple to make it work

 

why would you do all that when you can leave the 03 04 636 trees with no need for new bearings in the wheel?

 

I got it for a price I could not turn down

 

also 08 zx6 will work for anyone that is wondering.
