My frame slider busted the threaded area out of my engine case, basically broke a chunk of the engine case out where the slider bolts/engine mounts bolts to.

Can this be fixed, can the case be welded??? I know that some castings can't be welded to because of the quality of the casting.

Any information would be great. I know this had to have happened to someone else.

They shouldnt have any problems welding it. I have had my motors and frame welded on a *few* times.

 

Be sure to get someone that knows what they are doing. If your not careful they could cost you a lot of money. Good Luck,
