Tragedy In Ny

I remember a thread a while back about people drag racing and doing highway speed wheelies in stunt spots. We had this little spot off of exit 66 on the L.I.E. called Old Dock rd. It is a little industrial area that is empty on weekends so we would go there and practice. Many of you came out there to ride the day before the Reality event. I heard from a guy that works on that road that on tuesday night there were a bunch of bikes hanging out doing stunts and two guys hit each other at like 80mph, and they are both now DEAD. I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. Does anyone out there know what happened, and why they were going so fast on that little road.

This is why you gotta be careful at your spots. You should only stunt in one direction and only turn around at the ends, NEVER turn around in the middle. Sorry to hear about this.

Too many times, people don't pay attention and will turn right in front of you. That's why you only stunt with close friends who know the rules. There's no mistakes in this game, cause they can cost you your life. We had something like that happen here a while back, luckly enough no one was seriously hurt.
