About 3 weeks ago I asked you guys on here if they made a shorty pipe (like the 06-07 gsxr's) for the zx6rr/636....

No one really knew of any company but a member suggested using an actual two brother's slip-on from an 06-07 gixxer and not using the hanger bracket.

I gave this a shot and made my own hanger bracket. Lemme know what you guys think... Thanks!

HAHA well in the past two months there's been three neighbors' cars stolen in my town.

My bike's squeezed on my porch with three master locks on it. Unless they've got three guys to pick it up and carry it or ten minutes to saw them off before my loud *** dog hears them and wakes me up, it's not going anywhere!!

thank you...it's very minty! It's my baby bike and I beat the hell outta my other one!
I used to have a cf high mount Micron on it and it sounded damn near stock.
So I put this one on it...it's loud but not nearly as loud as some...(D&D)

 

Nice. I did kinda the same thing on my bike when it was the Minty. Then I cut all kinds of **** and put a cage on it and Acerbis

as clean as the bike...no scratches, dents, etc

 

Only problem I see is it doesn't look good. At least not to me. Looks like a big ole sore thumb sticking out there.

 

BS!! Looks awesome! So much cleaner than that big torpedo stickn' out the side of the subframe! Not to mention lighter and unique!

 

U can call bs all u want but fact is that everyone gets their own opinion and it looks ghetto to me. Reminds me of those bs pipes that roaring toyz sells that aren't much more than a megaphone tip. Low slung belly pipes belong on a 70s era corvette.
Sorry if u disagree but I mean it is your bike so of course u like it. Not trying to change your mind on it. If u like it, it shouldn't matter to u what I think.

 

i think it looks good but would look better if you put it back farther so i would be paralel with your swing arm would look cleaner .02

 

that can would def get crushed if it were on a stunt bike

 

if you put bmx pegs on where your axle is it wont
