Race rails?

Has anyone put rails on an 08 gsxr 600/750? If so do you have to cut the left side for instalation? I just got a new streetbike and keep telling myslef I wont do anything that would possibly cause me to drop it but I know better...

Re: Race rails?

if you gota cut a little hole in the plastics to save your bike its worth it. Or you could just risk it and have rash all the way down the bike if you drop it.

I'm going to have to agree with Atown on that one. Even if you do have to cut they would be worth it. Which Railz are you thinking about? I am pretty sure every company makes them different.

I've had powers on two of my other bikes. It would have been three but I canceled the order due to it took forever and went with 905. 905 has better customer service but I didnt care for their railz. I really liked my powers.

I'm supprised that these companies arent more on the ball with a shitty economy... SI has always answered any of my questions I'll see what they say. The only thing is I get 905 or Powers at cost (and I'm a cheap bastard).
