if you can get your hands on some Plug Patches that go in from the inside and both plug and patch the tire you are better off... most likely not going to lose one of those... you can get them at napa or any car parts place... only down side is you have to remove the tire to install them, but if you are talking stunt tires that you dumpster dove for they are the ****!

I Run Race Takeoff's All The Time Becase I Go Threw Tires Often And My Friend Hooks Me Up Off His Race Bike. But From Time To Time Ill Run A Tire Plugged Or Usually Its Patched And Have No Problems. Like Everyone Has Said- Just Keep An Eye On Them.

Just last week I had to find a take off in the used pile at the dealer, found a great M1 but it had a shard of glass through it, Went to napa and got a patch kit 7 dollars. Seems fine, I didn't use a plug cause of how thin the tire is. ordered 2 tires on the 8th from HAi still not here yet, do what you gotta. If its free its for me.

I know not completely the same, but we have probably no less than 50 plugs in the front tire of an old 3 wheeler (its dry rotted to **** all the way around the tire- it wont be around much longer...), and aside for needing new plugs here and there, the old ones hang in there damn good, and we dont clean the holes, we just shove em in there and air it up. some of the old ones have some fix a flat too- but that **** got too expensive.

Even saying that though, i'd ride with it only as long as it took to find another decent tire. thats tough luck man!
