05-06 636 creaking noise

I have a creaking noise in the front end. Usually just setting wheelies down hard. Tonight is was creaking when I was getting on the brakes hard and what-not. I think i've heard a few other people mention this. My steering stem bearings are good, everything is tight, WTF??

Re: 05-06 636 creaking noise

i find that if my bike is in the rain alot i get noise from my tripples or clipons and not just 636's ...lol

it's a lot of work kinda but cleaning the forks where the tripple and the clipons touch the fork and cleaning the tripple and clipons where they touch the forks seems to make the noise go away ...
