painting the gas tank

im going to paint my tank..when i take it off is ther anything i need to know before hand about the fuel lines or what not,like a specific way to disconnect???

aiit good looks,cause last time i did it,after putting the tank back on,it was like running like ****.like bogn out and all..figured it was the carbs,did a full breakdown and clean,and still nothing,i wreckd the bike later that day haha so i nevr found out the problem

if the bikes fuel injected you can just unhook the tank you dont have to drain it..but it you have carbs run it dry first

ya too late lmao i was bangn the tank with a rubber malet and it all pourd out the bottom,,lol think i got a tiny problem here haha
