Re: Streetable Stunt Bike set up?

I never understood the whole street stuntable thing. I run all my stunt bikes on the streets/ freeways Im talking 60 tooth **** too. A stunt bike is all purpose geared anyway unless it out of hand but nobody runs 70 or anything like that nowadays do they?

Re: Streetable Stunt Bike set up?

seems to me that ur better off starting with a smaller setup and once u get comfortable with that u'll be able to control and really beable use the extra torque

Re: Streetable Stunt Bike set up?

I've got a -1 on my street bike and I can clutch it up from a stand still. I don't have my idle up, so it's somewhat twitchy, but it can be shot up. If you can do that, what's the problem with running stock or nearly stock gears? It feels pretty similar to the F4 that has +12.

Mind you I suck, I'm just curious.

cause the rattrap speed of stock sprockets is about 8 mph and versus a pizza pan of like 1 mph

Re: Streetable Stunt Bike set up?

I feel like a puss struggling to get my front end up with stock gears. i have a new -1 + something small.... 1-3 sittin around in brand new waiting for me to be ambitious. do you think i will notice? I havent turned my idle up- does that make that much difference when just starting? I keep scaring myself with my bad "fiddy hand" bad habits on the throttle....
