Brembo or Magura for a hand brake?

I used to use a stock 06 R6 front master brembo for my hand brake and I ordered a Magura for the new 636, any thoughts what would be better?
I was going to go with the brembo 19 but had heard lots of good about the Magura from my racer friends.

Re: Brembo or Magura for a hand brake?

magura 13mm for sure. i had a brembo 16x18 on my 636 before and the 13mm is much better, more power and more feel at the same time. however when i had my 16x18 on my 600rr it was awesome. i think it just matches up with diff calipers.

hmmm, interesting. I think the look alone sold me on the Magura, its very nicely machined. Looks like art.

i think the magura would be tight...
seeing as my brembo 16x18 is a little loose lol

I dont like my brembo. not enough power.
cant even do seat stander coasters at all.
and have to use two fingers to bring down a ss scrape
i run the clutch on top. hb on bottom.

doesnt look like I can order the magura directly from there website.

I think it is all preference, some people like one and some like the other. Call HOHEY and talk to him and will hook you up and before you get off the phone he will have it on your door step!!!

Re: Brembo or Magura for a hand brake?

lever adjustment sucks on the magura and i think it has a bit to much of feel to it. its weird it like alot of slop then bamm all break. my 16/18 works great with my 4 piston and has a ton of lever adjustment.
