Re: 450, f2 myth??

Why would you want to even if you could? Cast aluminum front rim that will crack if you get a couple feet off the ground?

Get some 17" rims and a front brake kit.

17" rims and spokes aren't that expensive.

Re: 450, f2 myth??

the front wheel fits pretty much wtihout a whole lot of modification but the back wheel on the other hand takes a lot of machine work welding and fabrication to fit

Re: 450, f2 myth??

i know that it is not a CRF but it is CR forks. Thought it would make it alot cheaper to make a supermoto bike just for wheelies.

Re: 450, f2 myth??

There are some people on 450forum.com doing what you are talking about.
The problem with Trying to put the rear wheel from a streetbike onto a 450 doesnt work very good because a dirt bike doesnt have a cush drive and streetbikes do, because of this their is a lot of width that has to be taken out of a streetbike wheel in the rear. I was looking at using a sv650 rear wheel on my 450 before i saw how much work it would be.
